The Teacher (Peach and Plum)
Inspired by the very well-known Chinese idiom “桃李芬芳”, this work conveys gratitude to the predecessors who have given us a hand in life. The phrase, directly translated as “Peach and Plum Blossoms in Full Bloom”, refers to the fact that successful students are spread all over the world due to the dedicated guidance of their teachers, just as the fragrance of fruits spreads far and wide. Through the unique color flow of the lost-wax casting process, the piece is also created to resemble the warm luster of a Chinese landscape painting.

作品介紹
以成語「桃李芬芳」和「恩師如山」為靈感來源，傳達對生命中給予提攜的前輩的感謝。作品也透過脫蠟鑄造工藝特有的顏色流動，創作出彷彿山水畫的溫潤色澤。

工藝賞析
金箔蝴蝶象徵著師長的播種，內凹的山巒設計如山谷，代表能帶來回音，象徵著「學生回應著老師的栽培」。
遠山以浮雕在背面，更顯現出如山水畫般的深遠層次感，作品在桃李背面為拋光面，讓光可以更容易穿透，使桃李更透亮。
