創意源起：台北故宮典藏 清乾隆群獸鏡台（故玉002824N000000000）。鏡臺為碧玉質，紋樣以山巒為基底，雲氣自山頭向外散逸，珍禽異獸穿梭其間。附有木座。
設計師把碧玉轉化為琉璃件，木座則變成金屬件外框，琉璃件忠實的呈現碧玉上的紋飾，而木座的紋飾則以簡化的金屬件構成，呈現一繁一簡、一虛一實的互相呼應，兼有古典與現代之趣味。
