創意源起：台北故宮典藏 「清乾隆玉仿古璧」（故玉003202N000000000）。玉璧雙面均有紋飾，作環狀的分布：內環為乳丁紋，外環則為八組交纏、簡化的龍紋。相鄰的兩組交龍紋，採左右對稱的形式。
設計師擷取文物「圓周萬物」的象徵，變成「乘載容物」的置物碟，引喻在職場上也能容納、聽取不同的聲音，就能拓展眼界，生活也將更加豐富。
琉璃的玉璧中央為吸鐵，可以收納迴紋針等辦公物品，兩者一新一舊相互呼應，為作品增加添古典風雅之趣味。
